Absyte was born in the tough city streets of the southside of Chicago. It is not lost on Absyte that the place she loves and grew up is in a state of emergency right now and frankly always has been. Memories of her childhood include a drug addicted mother and plenty of abuse to go around. Yet for the grace of God and her grandparents did Absyte see a vision for success for herself.

Going on to pursue business, Absyte sacrificed her love of music to pursue 2 bachelors degrees and a Masters in Information Systems/Program Management and today manages several global application teams to produce major consume goods, products and services. Nevertheless, you can take the girl out the hood but you sometimes cant take the hood out of the girl. Now a woman with children, she returns to blaze the mic as she once did to in her words resurrect what has been lost in the game.
