Claude Jay's dance music hit, "Love Is The Answer", brought him international recognition as a singer, songwriter, producer and President of the Indie label, Purple MaJic Records. Claude Jay's gospel and inspirational album, " Sweet, Sweet Spirit", marked Jay's start and success as a songwriter and recording artist of gospel and inspirational music. His most recent project is a song he wrote for a feature film project. Claude Jay was inspired to be a songwriter by his Uncle Al Cleveland (ASCAP), Motown songwriter and co-writer of, "What's Going On" and other hits. Al Clevleand produced Claude Jay's first single, "Find Your Light", written by Jay for Purple MaJic Records. Claude Jay has toured and performed on stages, and venues in New York City and throughout the US, France, Italy, Japan, Brazil and Argentina. An actor, Claude Jay was a nenber of Marvin Felix Camillio's, Family Repetory Company, a Drama Desk and Obie Awarding Winning theatre ciompany, Jay has appeared Off Broadway, on film and televsion.
