Dennis Dreith is Co-founder and Chairman of Transparence Entertainment Group (TEG), formed in 2017 to manage neighboring and statutory rights for performers, and handle publishing and mechanical rights for music creators and labels. Prior to forming TEG, Dennis was the Executive Director for the AFM & SAG-AFTRA Intellectual Property Distribution Fund, overseeing the growth of the Fund from its inception in 1999 from $187,000 in assets to over $100M today, as well as concurrently serving as the Administrator of the Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund. Dennis also served as the International President of the Recording Musicians Association for 15 years, during which time he consulted for the American Federation of Musicians Negotiating Sub-committee for every major electronic media agreement , acted as AFM liaison to both the Theatrical and Television Motion Picture Special Payments Fund (MPSPF) and the Phonograph Record Manufacturers' Special Payments Fund, and even addressed the House Sub-committee on Intellectual Properties in support of Digital Performers Rights legislation in Washington, D.C. that was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in November 1995. Dennis’ early career included touring and recording as a musician and arranger (The Beach Boys, The Osmond Bros., Leon Russell, Barbara Streisand), producing (O’Jays, Tokens); composing (Scooby Doo, The Punisher, Columbo, The Flash, The Shadow), orchestrating and conducting (Lalo Schifrin, Marc Shaiman, John Williams, James Horner).
