Claudia Brant

Songwriter
Claudia Brant was born in Argentina and started writing songs from a very young age. At the age of 22 she got signed to Warner Music as an artist, and released two very successful albums in South America. She won both the OTI contest in1991 and the Viña del Mar contest in 1995. These are the most prestigious songwriting contests in all Latin America. In1998 she moved to California to pursue a songwriter and producer career. Since then, Claudia has established an average of 40 cuts per year in different genres and languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English). She has been nominated for 5 Latin Grammy’s and won a Latin Grammy for Song of the Year in 2009. She was awarded SESAC Latin Songwriter of the Year for three consecutive years, 2007-2009, and ASCAP Latina Songwriter of the Year in 2012 and 2015. Claudia’s song “No Me Doy Por Vencido”was named by Billboard Magazine as “Song of the Decade”after holding the #1 spot of the Latin Charts for a record of 19consecutive weeks.She has collaborated with the biggest names in the music industry such as: Bruno Mars, Desmond Child, DianneWarren, Lester Méndez, David Foster, Toby Gad, Martin Terefe, Danny Elfman, Walter A., Humberto Gatica, Lauren Christy, Steve Diamond, Adam Anders, Jodi Marr, Chris Destefano, Jayson DeZuzio, George Noriega, Jeremy Lubbock, Arturo Sandoval, Sebastian Krys, Lindy Robbins, Gary Burr, Kike Santander, Naughty Boy, Ferras, Marco Marinangeli, Noel Schajris, Neff-u, DQ, Ilan Kidron, Erika Nuri, Andrés Levin, Alex Cuba, Jorge Villamizar, Motiff, Motesart, Lil’ Eddie Serrano, Julio Reyes Copello, Andres Castro, JuliaMichaels,  to name a few.

In 2014 her song “I’m not the only one,” recorded by FrankieJ, became the end title for the blockbuster movie “SpareParts” (Pantaleon/Lionsgate) starring George Lopez and Marisa Tomei. Her upcoming singles include “Havana” (Spanish version) by Camila Cabello, “Mamita” by CNCO, “Entre Tu boca y La Mia” by Alex Ubago and several cuts on Malu, Merche, Luz Casal, Luis Fonsi and Natalia Jimenez’s new albums. In 2017, Claudia was named Spotify Secret Genius Latin Ambassador. She will be hosting and curating a wonderful Latin Song Camp for Spotify in Miami this February. Claudia also served as “Trustee” for The Recording Academy (LA chapter). She is currently serving as governor. She was also named VP West Coast of The Latin Songwriters Hall ofFame, where she got inducted in 2016. Additionally, she has been nominated twice as a candidate for the ASCAP Board ofDirectors.
Claudia lives in Los Angeles, where she has recently opened her new company, Brantones On Demand, to specialize in music for film and TV. She is currently working at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, recording her next full-length album SINCERA, due this spring. The album is produced by Ezequiel “Cheche” Alara and Antonio “Moogie” Canazio, and will include 4 duets featuring Antonio Carmona, Alex Cuba, La Marisoul Hernandez and Arnaldo Antunes.
