Jeremy "Jerm Beats" Reeves from Sacramento, CA is a member of the GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum Los Angeles production & songwriting team, The Stereotypes.
The Stereotypes scored two 2018 GRAMMY® wins for Song of the Year and Best R&B Song for their work on Bruno Mars' six-times platinum, #1 Billboard Hot 100 song "That's What I Like." The Stereotypes took over the charts in 2017 with a string of anthems from Bruno Mars' acclaimed 24K Magic album, which swept the GRAMMYs® and took home Album of the Year and Best R&B Album. The Stereotypes' contributions to 24K Magic include production credits on "24K Magic" (which won Record of the Year) as well as co-producing and co-writing "That's What I Like" and "Finesse," which Bruno and Cardi B recently revamped with a remix. The Stereotypes were also nominated for a GRAMMY® in the category of Producer of the Year (Non-Classical).
The Stereotypes came to life in 2007 and landed their first hit with Danity Kane’s platinum-certified “Damaged." Along the way, they extended their brand as businessmen, signing Far East Movement to their production company The Stereotypes Music via Interscope Records.
The group then decided to expand their artistry into K-Pop, working on songs with Super Junior, Taemin, and Red Velvet. The work was a major turning point for the four-piece and began a steady upswing for them.
In 2017, Jeremy and the group released their first song as artists, Pitbull's collaborative single, "Jungle" feat. E-40 & Abraham Mateo. On the track, funky guitars and a simmering beat snap into a seventies-style strut amplified by red hot lyrical fire from Pitbull and Bay Area boss bravado courtesy of E-40.
Jeremy is currently back in the studio with The Stereotypes writing and developing their new artist, Destiny Rogers, and working with artists including Bebe Rexha, Sam Hunt, and Meghan Trainor.
