Paul Mirkovich is an American musician, band director, arranger and
keyboardist currently musical director for the NBC television production of
The Voice from 2011 till the present working with literally hundreds of
singers and many international superstars on the Show like Christina
Aguilera, Cee-lo Green, Usher, Blake Shelton and Shakira, Adam
Levine, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Pharrell Williams and Alicia Keys.
In 2018 Paul was engaged by Pink to act as musical director for her
Beautiful Trauma World Tour as well as performances on the CMAs, Grammy Awards, and Live at the Ace Hotel for Apple Music.
He is also known for his twenty-five year career as Cher’s musical director
and singing partner.
Along with being a musical director for Cher, he has also musical directed
for award winning artists ,Pink, Christina Aguilera ,Janet Jackson, and
others. In addition, he has served as a former band member for multi-
platinum bands such as Foreigner, Whitesnake and Nelson.
In 2005, he beat out eleven (11) other musical directors for the job of
musical director for the Mark Burnett reality music television show, Rock
Star: INXS and RockStar Supernova. Mirkovich, along with musicians Rafael
Moreira, Nick McGorman, Nate Morton, and Sasha Krivtsov, performed as
the show’s house band during the show, three nights a week to a
primetime audience.
In addition, he served as music director for the Mark Burnett/P Diddy
produced reality show, Starmaker on MTV (2009) and Rock the Cradle
(Freemantle 2009).
He also produced the music for the Pink live concert DVD, Pink Funhouse
Live in Sydney.
As a composer Paul recently completed music for three different
attractions for Resort World on Sentosa Island in Singapore including the
Lake of Dreams,Porte Couchere, and Cranes Island. Paul wrote and
orchestrated over 30 minutes of original music for a 90-piece symphony
orchestra and 30-person choir.
