The State of Hawaii’s Creative Industries Division advocates for Hawaii’s creative entrepreneurs & accelerates the growth of Hawaii’s Creative Economy. Its signature program, Creative Lab Hawaii (CLH), provides entrepreneurs with the business skills & creative space to hone projects, launch businesses, expand distribution channels & secure investment for their intellectual property in the fields of Music, Broadband/New Media, Producing, Screenwriting, Interactive Media, Animation & Fashion. The CLH Music Immersive is a 5-day intensive and year-round mentoring program that provides participants with the opportunity to co-write & produce music for specific film or TV projects with a team of seasoned music industry leaders. Three participants are selected to participate in business development and placement opportunities with music industry leaders in Los Angeles. In addition to co-writing opportunities, participants learn the finer points of music licensing, publishing, IP protection, and other aspects of the business from CLH industry experts.
